Resilience Practicum #2 - Help Others

How does one continue to be resilient in a world where there is a steady stream of incomprehensible and overwhelming events? I’ve been asking myself that question since the news of the invasion of Ukraine. It reminded me that when things feel out of control, it is even more important to commit to exercising resilience “muscles.”

I’m embarking on a “resilience practicum” over the next month to make resilience a regular practice. My first action focused on helping others. I donated to the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal. It helped to feel purposeful instead of helpless. I know the dedicated and passionate people at the Red Cross will use the funds to help those in need.

I look forward to sharing highlights from my resilience journey over the next month. Join in the "resilience practicum" for March and share what you're doing to exercise your resilience muscle.#resilience #helpingothers #strength #inthistogether
